Horse Training

Whether your horse needs backing, re-schooling or has behavioural problems – we can help. Using a range of techniques including natural horsemanship and Standard English, we work with each horse on an individual basis. We usually work from our base, however we can travel when required.

Horse Backing

Every horse is an individual so therefore should be treated as one. Kirsty will use the skills that she has learnt while working with horses throughout her life in various different equestrian disciplines also including training horses for TV and film work. The basic backing process normally takes between 6-8 weeks but Kirsty prepares each horse to their specific goals and purposes of the owner’s requirements. Kirsty offers a free telephone consultation to discuss your horse’s education.

Prices range from £180 per week, this can includes:

• 5 schooling sessions per week
• Grass livery
• Use of stable( if required)
• Hay or hayledge
• Daily grooming and care
• Feed (Additional fee applicable)
• Use of electromagnetic pulse and massage equine rug sessions (Additional fee applicable)

Re-Schooling

This service is open to all horses from bringing hoses back into fitness, desensitisation work and all types of problematic horses. For an additional fee we can provide professionals in the following areas to assess your horse if required:

• Equine osteopath
• Equine dentist
• Farrier
• Vet
• Saddle fitter
• Horse feed nutritional adviser

Depending on re-schooling problems, horses can be housed at our base for intensive work or Kirsty can come to you and work with your horse on a one to one basis. Prices start from £180 per week, private hourly sessions also available on request.
